Share a film for review

A review link lets a client or a boss watch one finished film and tell you what they think, without making an account. They can leave notes at exact moments and press Approve or Request changes.

  1. Make a full render of your timeline first (Deliver). A link shows one finished film, not your live timeline.
  2. Press Share for review. It sits under the film in Deliver and at the top of the review page.
  3. Pick a name for the link if you like, which film to share (the newest is chosen for you), how long the link works (1, 7, 14, 30 or 90 days; 14 is the default) and whether guests can leave notes.
  4. Press Create link, then Copy link.

Copy the link right away. It is shown only once. If you lose it, make a new one and turn the old one off.

This link shows only this render. Anyone with the link can watch and leave notes until it expires or you turn it off. They cannot download the film, see your project, your other renders or your timeline. They see only the notes people write through this link, and your replies to those notes; notes from your team stay private.

What your guest sees

A dark player, a bar under it with a dot for every note, a field for their name, a box for a note at the current moment, a list of notes with a Jump to button, and the buttons Approve and Request changes. A change request needs a short note unless they have already left a note. If you edited the timeline after the render, a "Newer edits exist" banner tells them they are watching an earlier cut.

They type their own name, so it is shown with "(guest)" next to it. Everything they write is shown as plain text.

If a link has expired, was turned off, or never existed, the page says only "This link has expired or was turned off." It never says which.

What you see

On the review page, guest notes appear in the same list as yours, marked "Ana (guest)". You can resolve or delete them, but not edit them. A banner shows each link's latest decision: "Approved by Ana, Oct 26" or "Ana asked for changes: shorter intro". A red number on Share for review (and a "New guest activity" chip on the timeline card in the hub) tells you something new is waiting; opening the list marks it as seen.

The list in the dialog shows each link's status, when it expires, how often it was opened, the latest decision, and Revoke. Revoking asks first, then stops the link at once.
