ReelBolt 0.2.0-alpha — public alpha. Expect rough edges; things may change. Tell us what’s wrong
We collect telemetry to see how the alpha is going. We also record product-health signals (a failed tool call, a refused request, a failed workflow step, or a chat that ended on an error) as metadata only, so we can see when the alpha is struggling. Each is linked to your account and workspace, and so to your email address; it is not anonymous. It carries no message content. Privacy policy

This comparison is for founders, product marketers and growth leads who want on-brand product videos without a production team and are looking at both Arcade and ReelBolt. We make ReelBolt, so read it with that in mind. Every statement about Arcade comes from Arcade’s own public pages and docs, linked in the sources at the end.
Both products make product promo videos. The short version of the difference: Arcade builds videos from a prompt, the interactive demos you capture in Arcade and your brand kit, and it also makes clickable demos, while ReelBolt edits your recorded footage into a promo, starting from your repository and design system.

Arcade makes interactive demos, and ReelBolt does not. An Arcade demo is something a buyer clicks through, and on Arcade’s paid plans it can have branching paths, calls to action, forms and analytics 3. For sales follow-ups, onboarding or a “try it” section on a website, a clickable demo does a job a video cannot.
Arcade’s product videos come straight out of those demos. AI Video turns a prompt, your Arcade demos and your brand kit into a finished, on-brand video, such as a teaser, a sizzle reel or a product overview, and you refine it by chatting or by editing the timeline 2. If your team already captures demos in Arcade, the video is one step away.
Arcade’s pitch is close to ReelBolt’s own: “Create On-Brand Product Videos with AI” 1. Nothing in this article suggests it cannot make a good product promo.
Arcade’s MCP works on every plan, including the free one 4. It can create brand kits, add URL sources and generate videos, and its supported clients include Claude Code, Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor and Lovable 4,7. Arcade’s docs also state its limits: through MCP it cannot create interactive demos or edit videos after creation 4.
ReelBolt starts from the product’s source and design system. Connect a GitHub repository, pick the branch and the files that matter, and the project updates when you push. Your brand kit imports from design tokens (DTCG, Style Dictionary, Tokens Studio), CSS and Tailwind, DESIGN.md, shadcn, Storybook or a brand PDF. ReelBolt watches those sources, proposes changes you approve or reject, and records which brand version each run used.

ReelBolt works on footage you have filmed or recorded. It removes silences, lets you compare alternate takes and handles multicam. On Pro, Team and Enterprise, an edit room puts several AI editors and a director on your takes to decide what to keep, and a color grade room sets one look for the whole video.
Screen footage gets tracked inserts. Fill a green, blue or magenta screen with your own video or animation, and the insert follows the screen as it moves, on curved surfaces and across several screens in one shot. When tracking confidence is low, ReelBolt does not apply the insert. The same tracking can find objects such as license plates and blur, pixelate or fill them.

Generated b-roll fills gaps in the cut. On Pro, Team and Enterprise, a shot director plans cutaways, a cold open or an end card, and generates them under a spend cap and a daily budget, with several takes per shot and a dailies room that picks the best.
Voice work fits the cut. ReelBolt writes narration to fit your edit and reads it with text-to-speech. With a cloned voice the speaker has consented to, it can re-record a flubbed line in your footage as a pickup.
Arcade’s pricing is changing, so we give dates. On October 17, 2026, Arcade’s pricing page listed three plans. The free plan covered a single seat with one published demo and one published video, without MP4 export or watermark removal. The Growth plan was priced per seat and added MP4 and GIF export, watermark removal, AI translations and integrations. Enterprise was custom and added API access, SSO and custom domains. Videos cost credits by length, with monthly or yearly billing 3.
Arcade has also published a new credit model for AI Video that starts on October 19, 2026. Under it, the free plan gets one-time credits for short 1080p videos with an Arcade watermark, and a new Pro tier with several levels allows longer videos in 4K with no watermark, cleared for commercial use. Videos are still charged by length. Asking the AI to edit a video costs credits, and editing it yourself does not 6. Check Arcade’s pricing page (opens in a new tab) for the plans in force when you read this.
ReelBolt plans are credit based. A free trial includes 100 one-time credits. Creator is $29 a month, Pro is $79 and Team is $49 per seat per month. Generated b-roll and the AI rooms come with Pro, Team and Enterprise, and Pro exports up to 4K. Every run shows a credit estimate before it starts, and if a run fails on our side the credits come back. The pricing page has the full plan details.
A credit buys something different at each company, so a credit-for-credit comparison will mislead you. Price the video you actually need in each tool.

Pick Arcade if you want interactive demos as well as videos, if your team already captures product flows in Arcade, or if you want a short teaser or product overview built from a prompt and your brand kit.
Pick ReelBolt if you have real footage to work with: screen recordings, demo takes, a founder on camera, launch b-roll. It suits teams that want that footage derushed and cut on brand, with tracked screen inserts, blurred details, narration and pickups in a cloned voice the speaker has consented to, and generated shots only where something is missing.
Some product teams need both a clickable demo and a promo video. Arcade covers the first, and both can produce the second from different starting points.

No. ReelBolt makes videos and thumbnails. If you need a demo that buyers click through, with branching and forms, Arcade is built for that.
Yes. Arcade builds them from a prompt, your Arcade demos and your brand kit. ReelBolt edits your own footage using a brand kit imported from your design system, and can add generated b-roll on Pro, Team and Enterprise.
Yes. Arcade’s MCP lists Claude Code among its supported clients on every plan. ReelBolt’s MCP server connects Claude Code over OAuth with the same tools and confirmations as the assistant in the app.
Arcade has published a new credit guide for AI Video that starts on that date, with a new Pro tier and changed free-plan limits. Check Arcade’s pricing page for the current plans.
